2011-2012 Partners in Research Awardees

GUMC Dean for Research Robert Clarke, Ph.D, D.Sc., invited top GUMC researchers in 2011 to submit 5-page research proposals for the inaugural funding year of Partners in Research. The submissions were reviewed by a committee of experts from various research backgrounds that followed the stringent proposal review guidelines used by the National Institutes of Health, and five finalists were selected to present their proposals to the Partners. The top three projects as voted by the partners were chosen and were awarded $25,000 each.
